Terms of use

1. What AFTERGLOW is

AFTERGLOW is a free-to-play social casino entertainment site run by LeonLink. All games use Glow Coins, a virtual play currency. Glow Coins have no monetary value. They can't be bought, sold, transferred, redeemed or exchanged for cash, prizes or anything of value. No purchase is ever necessary, and none is possible.

2. Who can play

You must be 18 or older, or the age of majority where you live if that is higher. Don't use AFTERGLOW where social casino games are prohibited.

3. Not gambling

Because nothing of value can be wagered or won, AFTERGLOW is not gambling. Results in play-money games don't predict results in real-money gambling. Practice or success here doesn't imply future success at real-money gambling.

4. Your progress

Coins, levels, achievements and history are stored only in your browser. We can't recover them if you clear your site data, switch devices or use private browsing. We may reset balances, change games, odds, rewards or features, or end the service at any time.

5. Fair play

Game outcomes come from a seeded HMAC-SHA256 generator described on the Fair play page. Return-to-player figures shown in the games are long-run averages from simulation. Short sessions vary widely.

6. Acceptable use

Don't attack, overload, reverse-engineer for abuse, or misrepresent the service. Editing your own local save is your business, but it doesn't create any entitlement.

7. No warranty, limited liability

AFTERGLOW is provided "as is" for entertainment, without warranties of any kind. To the extent the law allows, LeonLink isn't liable for any loss arising from your use of the site.

8. Changes

We may update these terms. The effective date above shows the latest version. Continuing to play means you accept the current terms.

Privacy

• No accounts, no tracking. AFTERGLOW has no sign-up, no ads, no analytics and no third-party trackers.
• Local storage only. Your display name, balance, stats, settings and fairness seeds are saved in your browser's localStorage under keys starting with afterglow:. They never leave your device.
• Hosting. The site is served by Vercel, which processes standard request data such as IP address and user agent to deliver pages and protect against abuse.
• Deleting your data. Use Profile → Reset, or clear site data in your browser.

Responsible play

AFTERGLOW is built to be fun, not compulsive. It includes a break reminder (set it in Profile), a reduced-motion mode, and no way to spend money. Even so, casino-style games can encourage habits that carry over into real gambling.

Warning signs

• Playing longer than you meant to, or to escape stress or low mood
• Chasing losses, or thinking a win is "due"
• Wanting to move to real-money gambling to get the same feeling
• Hiding how much you play from people close to you
